Catherine in English

Catherine Frisk Gronberg was born in Uppsala, Sweden, but since 1996 she lives in the Aland Islands, Finland. Catherine’s passion for song and music has shaped her life and career choices. She studied at The Royal College of Music in Stockholm and The Stockholm Opera Studio. She now works as a singing teacher, teaching pupils ranging from beginners to university students.
Catherine likes to sing early music, such as songs from the Middle Ages and arias from the Baroque period, but also Nordic romances and arias. Catherine is also inspired by traditional Swedish and Estonian Music and of course sea songs.
